Electopia: 3D Graphics Benchmark Released on Android Marketplace

Electopia Benchmark is an OpenGL ES 2.0 3D game benchmark for today’s high-end mobile platforms. The benchmark features advanced rendering techniques, which include post-processing effects such as depth of field, as well as projected shadows and water surface rendering using normal maps.

Tactel joins Khronos Group

Today Tactel formalized it’s relationship with Khronos Group by becoming a contributing member of the organization. “We are excited to be involved with other leaders in the industry in driving new standards”, said David Foos, CEO of Tactel.
Tactel will look to leverage its expertise and contribute in the areas of OpenGL, OpenSL, WebGL, WebCL and OpenCL.
